This dog ball thrower can hold up to 17 tennis size balls and up to 25 small size balls, and gives you complete control over how you choose to use it: for example, you can set the throwing distance at anything between 3 – 12. The outside plastic trim ring on the opening where the ball ejects also was rather flimsy and our beagle scratched it off trying to get the ball out of the launcher when it failed to launch.
