About this deal

This box provides a fiery core for a Salamanders army, led into battle by Captain Adrax Agatone, armed with the mighty hammer Malleus Noctum. Inside you’ll find two squads of objective-claiming Primaris Intercessors, three aggressors to burn your enemies, and three Eradicators to melt them. You’ll also receive plenty of Salamanders Primaris Upgrades to add some extra sons of Vulkan style. This box provides 27 plastic models with a variety of weapon options, making it an ideal way to start a new Salamanders army or add to your existing Space Marines collection.

With Space Marines being the bread & butter of 40k forces, and with recent complaints of GW’s ongoing price inflations – This is a fantastic way of getting hands-on with a larger force for a little less. Ok, let’s get on with it. Space Marine Battleforces – Price, Value & Savings Assumptions Salamanders look striking on the battlefield and are an excellent opportunity to practise your flame details, which are sure to stand out in the next Armies on Parade award show. A Bladeguard Veteran bodyguard for Adrax and an Impulsor to ride in won’t go amiss, either if you’re looking to expand your force. Full rules for playing your own Boarding Action games, including setting up the battlefield, modified rules for visibility, cover, and loads more

ok, so just before I get into it, I need to call out the Elephant in the room. and no, I don’t have any inside knowledge of these boxes before the release, well. Well, like most other content creators I know how to find out the prices of releases on Monday before said release. So the box prices below are confirmed in the Uk. but they are assumed for other regions. Should you need Intercessors then this is the box for you. Featuring enough models to form a complete Patrol, this box is probably the best starter for anyone who doesn’t have Space Marines but is interesting is trying them out. The Salamanders Upgrade Sprue includes some fun bits that are applicable to other chapters, including thunder hammers and torch bits. The Eradicators are also one of the more effective units in Space Marine forces, and with the Salamanders Super Doctrine the flamer Aggressors can be surprisingly terrifying. What’s Right for You? This mischievous pair can play for Badlands Brawl and Underworlds Challenge teams, and will be sure to give your opponents a headache – or a very close haircut, in Nobbla’s case. If your ideal defence is a blisteringly fast offence, the Storm of Chogoris is the battleforce for you. Built around a dependable core of six Primaris Outriders and two Invader ATVs led by a Primaris Chaplain on Bike, this express delivery of pain discards weak and feeble legs for the mechanical purity of the wheel. If you want to muster a fresh army to take advantage of the Arks of Omen Detachment, there are also four new Adeptus Astartes Battleforces* that’ll give you a great starting point – or help you expand on your army with loads of models and Chapter-themed upgrades.

This box has a ton of infantry, so could be super useful for both veteran and new players alike. It’s nice to get a box that can just fill out your existing forces in one buy! White Scars: Storm of Chogoris Nine Boarding Action missions with unique objectives and terrain maps to bring your battles to life Contents: Marneus Calgar and Victrix Honor Guard, Chief Librarian Tigurius, 3 Bladeguard Veterans, 10 Intercessors, 10 Hellblasters, 2 (?) Ultramarines Upgrade Sprues

New Chapter Approved 2023 & Battleforces: FIRST LOOK

Arks of Omen secondary objectives, featuring bespoke secondary objectives for every Warhammer 40,000 faction, as well as universal secondary objectives to broaden your tactical options This box provides a speedy core for a White Scars army, led into battle by Kor’sarro Khan, armed with the lethal blade Moonfang. Inside you’ll find two squads of fast-moving Outriders, mobile fire support in the form of a pair of Invader ATVs, and a Primaris Chaplain on Bike to lead the charge. You’ll also receive plenty of White Scars Primaris Upgrades to add some extra sons of Jaghatai Khan style. This box provides 10 plastic models with a variety of weapon options, making it an ideal way to start a new White Scars army or add to your existing Space Marines collection. While not necessarily the most competitive force at the moment, Space Marines remain a fantastic way for new players to try out Warhammer 40k and a fun way for players of other factions to try out a different play style. Space Marines also feature a lot of flat surfaces that are easy to paint, so it might be a good way to try something different if you’re burned out on your current army. Of the boxed sets I would recommend the March of Iron to start with, as it includes enough models to form a Patrol detachment, the models are easily applied to any Chapter, and big stompy robots are a ton of fun. Players could also consider the Bastion Strike Force if they like the look the Gravis units. The Ravenstrike Battle Force and Storm of Chogoris are the most specialized and seem more useful to players who have a specific need to expand their existing armies.

The Arks of Omen series introduces rules for Boarding Actions – tightly-fought games of Warhammer 40,000 that recreate oppressive assaults on the claustrophobic confines of voidcraft and space hulks. It’s a fresh way to play Warhammer 40,000 using your existing collections. This is clearly a decent starting point and has some iconic characters, so if you don’t have them and want to try them, this should be a great option for you! Storm of Chogoris Battleforce box

Arks of Omen: Abaddon

In the world of Blood Bowl, a pair of truly classic Star Players are returning to the pitch after a long absence, sporting brand new models to boot! Finally, the Salamanders Warforged Strike Force is great for fans of infantry assaults – not to mention flamers and meltas – with 20 Intercessors, three Eradicators, three Aggressors, and Adrax Agatone to oversee them all. Iron Hands love their vehicles, and this boxed set can serve as a viable Patrol for anyone who wants to start or expand their force in that direction. Redemptor Dreadnoughts are one of the best options available for Space Marine players, with a pair of Dreadnoughts supported by 10 Intercessors and 2 Techmarines. Iron Father Feirros could easily be converted into a generic Master of the Forge while the Iron Hands upgrade sprue has plenty of bits that make this box set viable for any Chapter. Ravenstrike Battle Force

Mortis , by Horus Heresy veteran John French, sees Titans and their crews step to the forefront of the story, as the Traitor forces continue to break through the Imperial Palace defences and close in on the beleaguered Loyalists. The Great Rift has torn the Emperor’s realm in two. Ancient alien empires rise from the ashes of prehistory to claw at the dying stars. Predatory nightmares boil from the outer darkness, while everywhere the veil of reality wears thin and the flames of war rise ever higher. Day by day, battle upon battle, the galaxy careens ever closer to total annihiliation. This multipart plastic kit builds an Abhorrant Ghoul King with Crown of Delusion – a deranged monarch sat atop a broken and crumbling throne, his pose exuding a regal confidence that contrasts with the bones littering the floor around him. Though he may believe himself garbed in finery, his sword and crown are pitted with decay, his tattered cloak is pinned to his chest by piercings of bone, and grisly trophies hang from his royal seat. A blank tournament scoring sheet for you to photocopy and use, with an annotated example of how to fill it out

Battleforce: Salamanders – Warforged Strike Force

This box provides a tough, powerful core for an Iron Hands army, led into battle by Iron Father Feirros, armed with the mighty axe Harrowhand. Inside you’ll find a squad of objective-claiming Primaris Intercessors, two towering Redemptor Dreadnoughts, and a Techmarine to repair them and keep them fighting. You’ll also receive plenty of Iron Hands Primaris Upgrades to add some extra sons of Ferrus Manus style. This box provides 14 plastic models with a variety of weapon options, making it an ideal way to start a new Iron Hands army or add to your existing Space Marines collection. Both Characters can make battlefield repairs on the Dreadnoughts, with Feirros restoring 3 wounds every turn, so it’ll take some serious firepower to bring them down. Just add a few Gladiator tanks and you’ll prove that the flesh is weak and the machine is strong.
