About this deal

The readers of Water Under The Bridge will learn about being professional swimming and the problems that that can cause everyone who is involved. Also, the readers of Water Under The Bridge will see the harm people who scam other people. Water Under The Bridge highlights the benefits that community cooperation can achieve in a small rural community. That Leaders Might Last - Dave Mann Transformed Lives - Bev Montgomery Growing Great Kiwi Churches - Gordon Miller tbh, i couldn’t get the company names, ‘plastech’ was easy but what did ORO stand for? idk — anywho, avery was great, i thought she it was cool to see such a smart, intelligent and no bs kinda main character. Ella Davenport's first listing in the small town of Chalk Hill was a big old home she was keen to sell. The owner wouldn't return her calls, so she prepared the best she could, cleaning out the house - even enlisting her ten year old son Sam to help - much to his disgust.

Denise and Kels did a great job making these characters feel real. The dialogue felt natural and dynamic, and workplace setting and the ocean conservation aspect were also well done. I am so happy they chose to make this dual POV because Luca's POVs had me melting.Getting both of their POV was perfect, I feel like that really brought the book together as both characters have such strong emotions, it was nice to see how they both felt about things! In the uncertain light he read 'Cave. V.B.M.' Chauncey liked a bit of Latin. Cave was Latin for Beware. [...] V.B.M. meant Very Bad Mood. Good old Chauncey, what a pal. Neil unlaced his shoes and took them off and went up the stairs using the extreme side which was less inclined to squeak. (p.57-8.)

In this groundbreaking book, Rebecca Godfrey writes with insight and compassion about a startling teens-on-teen crime that prefigures Parkland, Columbine, and Slenderman. She unspools a story that feels only too relevant today — an outsider yearning to fit in, a Queen Bee holding onto her crown, and an unfortunate misfit in the wrong place at the wrong time. A revelation for any lover of teen crime..." I've learnt that the first three books in this series are about the Honeychurch brothers (Jake, Abel and Brix). I'm looking forward to reading restaurant owner Abel's story next time! avery and luca’s banter had me laughing and hyperventilating at times. the spice in this book?!???? WHEW i mean don’t let the innocent cover fool you. the games they constantly played made me feel so happy?? i did cry a few times, i must say lolI also found Ella’s relationship with Erik a little unnerving. For a time I was confused as to whether or not they’d ever consummated their marriage. One assumes they must have or else Ella would have been much more ignorant during the intimate scenes she shares with Jake. This just seemed to highlight the only interest Ella has in Jake is lust because she claims Erik is her best friend and yet wants to divorce him. The two main characters Kate and Jude are very different from one another but also share some similarities. First of all they are both killers (I have a strange obsession with them!). While Kate was very impulsive in her behavior, Jude was more calculated and didn't act before thinking things through. However, they both had a very unique upbringing and handled some things the same way. They definitely brought balance and some type of peace to each other. However it didn't all go according plan and there were some major obstacles they had to overcome. When they first met they recognized something in each other, they both felt a connection that they couldn't ignore. Their coming together was inevitable.

I also didn't care for either of the main characters. They weren't for me. Avery Soko, the FMC, has a very childish tone to her POV (in that if I wasn't told her age, I'd think she was a teenager and not a grown woman). The "enemies" part of things is due to the fact that because she's immature, she doesn't forgive misunderstandings/doesn't offer Luca the chance to actually show his side of things because she constantly assumes the worst about him. She cares more about winning than the mission of her start-up, seen when she is reluctant to work with Luca's team even though their conservation efforts are complementary. She also doesn't handle rejection well - which, you would think would be a point of development for her - but at the point I stopped at, it seemed very much like she was being pandered to by the other characters who validated her instead of actually trying to be mature about things. The case went to the court and then to a counseling session from where the story had actually started. The book is split into five parts including the kill, the killers, the police investigation, the trial, and information on what has happened since. This is a harrowing story of teenagers, mainly girls – 6 girls, and 1 boy murdering another teenager. The circumstances and the lives of these people are stranger than any fiction book could recreate. The why Reena Virk was killed could have been for several reasons and some are given in the book. Kels writes impactful love stories with strong heroines and swoon-worthy love interests with her best friend, Denise.

Summary:

It was a strange occupation—looking for something you didn’t really want to find. And on this pale, blurry day in November, the men really didn’t want to find the fourteen-year-old girl because it would mean the rumors of murder were true. “You’ve got to be kidding,” Gos said when he heard about who was alleged to have killed the girl. His partners scoffed as well, for the story of her supposed killers seemed such an absurd and impossible tale. Oh I sure did enjoy this book so much! The introductory chapters gave me a different idea of the story and I started predicting the future happenings, but as we proceeded towards the end, I realized that all my theories were wrong.. Oh lord!! This was MAGNIFICENT!!!
