About this deal

Our next section takes us away from the power driven Lords of the Death Guard. Now we get to add some warp spawned madness to list with a pair of psychers to fill the rest of our Death Guard HQ slots. Malignant Plaguecaster

Brilliant Battleforces Burst onto the Scene in This Week’s

Dubbed ‘Chainbreaker’ for freeing countless slaves from the Iron Warriors – rather than his hatred of Christmas decorations – the Imperial Knight Sir Hekhtur leads a devastating lance of noble war machines across the galaxy. The Chainbreaker Lance is led by the Knight Preceptor Canis Rex (which can also be built as any other Questoris-class Knight, and which comes with a pilot), mentoring swift scout-Knights known as Armigers. The Battleforce includes two ranged Helverins and two close-range Warglaives , piloted by lower-ranking Nobles. Death Guard – Council of The Death Lord Alternately, here’s an excellent opportunity to practice your converting skills. You get just the loadout you want and unique appearance. He’ll be yours and yours alone! Death Guard Chaos Lord in Terminator Armor

The main problem of terminators box is the same. They have one of each special weapon. So, think about plasma and melta details in advance. Sure, you can give bolters to them all, but in this codex you have a lot of anti-infantry tools, but few anti-tank solution. So, if you expect a lot of tough units, be sure to take enough meltas. If you are taking plasmas, it will be a good idea to give Blight launcher to one of the terminators – the purpose of this gun is the same, but it costs less. Don’t expect these guys to be good in close combat. They have nothing to do against good fighters. And also, now we can’t move them with Warptime after deepstrike. So, use them as plasma/melta drop. It would be nice to keep them alive longer, since they cost almost 300 points and you will regret in case of their early death. Imperial fists don’t have a big top dog like the other factions, but this box will still be a great starting point for new players. Battleforce: Raven Guard – Ravenstrike Battle Force It may seem strange, but there’s no commander for this army. Plague Surgeon dwells in the Elite slot, and, honestly, is one of the weakest characters in the army. So, think about someone to lead your army. Probably, a part of Dark Imperium starter is a good idea. It’s cheap and gives you one more Drone with useful wargear, 2 (or 1) squads of extremely required Poxwalkers, enough to fill 2 extra troops slots for a batallion detachment, Plague marines for conversions and alternative use, and Malignant Plaguecaster. This guy must be in your roster because there are many useful spells in this codex. He can both support close combat units or cover those who are left behind. Starter lord is totally useless – he does all the things that Typhus can but has no psychic powers and special abilities. Considering the minimal price difference, it’s better to buy Typhus. The miniature is awesome, by the way. And in Rynn’s World by Steve Parker, Warlord Snagrod’s ork hordes are preparing to descend on the Crimson Fists’ home planet. After tragedy befalls the defenders, will the handful of Space Marines left under Chapter Master Kantor’s command be able to avert Orkish annihilation? Mortarion: Der Fahle König

Warhammer 40,000 Battleforces – Praise the Emperor This

As a new HQ this great to finally see a separate release. One support piece can add many different play options to a list! Great online store for board games. They always arrive perfectly and undamaged which is important to me. Close combat loadout is an interesting choice since maces deal 3 damage and flails are perfect crowd killers. The problem is that it’s still quite expensive and wielded by single wound models. Half of them won’t even reach close combat. If you are playing against shooting army – don’t even think about it. But if your enemy doesn’t mind to fight hand to hand, you may add here your Plague Surgeon, Tallyman to grant re-rolls and a Plaguecaster to increase toughness, strength and a chance to wound the enemy. Such old school death star can destroy a lot of units. If it manages to come to close combat. The main thing – take 7 plague marines. You critically need 2 guys with maces, 2 with flails, and a sergeant. So, the other 2 can be sacrificed with no regret. There’s no use to take 10, since you need space for the characters. Unfortunately, there’s only one mace and flail in the set, so’ you’ll have to find extra ones somewhere else. Forge World is returning to Necromunda with some new and highly detailed resin kits, starting with Athera, Blade of the Matriarch . Escher gangs can petition her for help in slicing up enemy gangers with her master-crafted chainaxe. Athera is accompanied into battle by her grumpy Caryatid, Stix, who has the prescience to help them both avoid harm. Necromunda: Escher Shivver and Apprentice Clan Chymist The only currently available model, you’ll find the Malignant Plaguecaster in the Chosen of Mortarion set. Armed with a bolt pistol and corrupted staff, he’s much better in a fight than shooting. But you weren’t taking him for the shooting phase.

It’s hard enough to be stealthy when you’re a nine-foot tall super soldier, but how about the challenge of going covert with not one but two Invictor Tactical Warsuits? If anyone would know how to pull that off, it’s Raven Guard Chapter Master Kayvaan Shrike, who also leads a squad of Reivers, a trio of Eliminators, and a Phobos-armoured Librarian for a total of 17 miniatures ready for an ambush.
