The Rock, Pop, Monitor, Classic and Rap profiles each have slight redeeming features in that some emphasise the vocals, others flatten off the entire spectrum, however, the signature EQ was actually fantastic sounding with the 12mm LCP Dynamic Driver and custom armature pumping warm, crisp sound into your ear canal. It's thin enough to carry in a jeans pocket, has three LED-lights that indicate the remaining case battery and it can recharge the earbuds three times fully before it needs new power via USB-C itself. Not only are five tips sizes included, but you never have to worry about them slipping off the earbuds.
If I can get enough people to try the Donner Dobuds ONE, I think that they could be quite an industry standard setter with the balanced armature driver and dynamic driver built-in in the budget TWS earbud range. The touch panel on each bud accepts numerous input methods, from single/multi-taps (double and triple) to long presses, and it demonstrates excellent touch accuracy. In the higher frequencies, female and higher male vocals are put somewhat forward to counter the boosted lower tones, and they sound clear and centric, but also come with some sibilance: hissy sss-tones. The battery life on the Dobuds One is solid, delivering around 5,5 hours of playtime with ANC on, and up to 8 hours with Active Noise Cancelling turned off.In Normal mode, the focus was still on the audio, but I could pick out sounds that were closer to me. I would say that I easily got +24hrs out of these buds with just one charge using ANC constantly and with the volume at around 70-75% on average, so these passed my expectations in terms of needing to charge them regularly.
Even with these drawbacks, the noise cancellation and sound performance are enough to make them a very worthwhile investment. To grant you the best fit, the Dobuds comes with five sizes of ear tips - more than the usual three. The mids are separated really nicely from the rest of the soundstage almost to the point where the bass, and then the mid-bass, and then the mids where the vocals are sitting, and all of the keys and guitar work is happening. In addition, the USB-C enabled rechargeable case holds 24hrs worth of battery, with the 8hr max capacity of the buds producing a staggeringly wonderful 32hrs of playtime on one full charge cycle with ANC off and around 24hrs total with ANC on. The set came with the ear pods, charger cable (without the plug) 5 changeable earpads, sizes xsmall, small, 2 medium, (one set is already on the ear pods) and large, the instruction manual and finally the charger/carrying case. Clear, not boomy base, sparkling defined highs and a midrange that is well defined without overpowering the other frequencies. They aren't what you'll get for 3x the cost, but they work great, have decent sound, and are easy to sync. I got these for when at the office so I can listen to music and these are so very comfortable in my ear and works great! Instead, I got a much fuller audio experience, catching higher frequencies just as well as lower ones. Finally, you get a USB-C charging cable with the product, so you don’t have to go rooting through old cables to find something that works.They are comfortable, and because it's a personal preference to only wear one at a time, I am able to change ears throughout the day to avoid the pain and ache from all day wear. Well, turns out these are absolutely stunning in terms of sound quality: clear, with deep bass capability (deeper than I can tolerate for prolonged time), and decent high-frequency response. I was super excited when I got them because I could immediately see on the side of the box that they were a hybrid dual driver, true wireless, active noise-canceling earbud. The app allows for seperate settings for each set, and to set what taps and touches adjust on the buds - VERY useful with the bike helmet to avoid accidental touches. Two things of note, sadly: there's no official waterproof rating - although Donner states the earbuds are waterproof, and they do indeed survive a light rainfall.
